Course Description
"Bridging the gap" is the aim of this course: students from various disciplines should gain insights into entrepreneurial practice and the start-up world and apply entrepreneurial methods during their studies. In this way, a bridge is to be built between scientific theory and practical implementation. Various theories, concepts and processes of entrepreneurship will be examined from an application-oriented perspective. These include topics such as customer identification, competition analysis and the development of a suitable business model including problem-solution fit. These topics are also addressed in guest lectures, in which entrepreneurs from various sectors share their experiences with the students and thus provide insights into current developments in the entrepreneurial practice.
Within the exercise, students participate in the cetup.ID program of the "Centrum für Entrepreneurship & Transfer" (CET). They learn and test how start-up ideas can be validated in practice and further developed. This includes the development of a target group-oriented value proposition. As part of the program, students also learn about new digital collaboration tools and methods that will help them in their studies and careers. They can network with other participants and benefit from the expertise of the CET's start-up experts.
