Course description

Students will receive an introduction to the relevant aspects of entrepreneurship. In addition to definitions and characteristics, an introduction to basic theories, concepts and processes of entrepreneurship is given. This includes in particular concepts such as the entrepreneurial attitude, entrepreneurial action as well as the emergence and exploitation of opportunities. Furthermore, the focus is on the process of (new) venture creation by deepening essential challenges regarding business model development. The focus here is also on the decision-making process from the perspective of the startup. In addition, the overall social aspects of entrepreneurship are discussed against the background of the challenges of economic and social development. This also includes the discussion of facets of the so-called dark side of entrepreneurship.

In the exercise, the topics listed are taken up by lectures from practice and are intended to be reflected by the students.
